Graft

In relationships, we often want to see only our partner's perfection. We don't want to meet their wound. But when a branch is split and broken, is it not most fruitful in its torn spot? That is precisely where it grafts onto another vine, if the other is also willing to expose a tear. Through our wounds we can heal each other, becoming one vine.
